Senior and Middle Vue js developers

          New project at SharpMinds! We are looking for 2 Vue JS developers!

About project:

Our client is one of the biggest job boards in the Netherlands. Their development team now works on both job boards, which share the same codebase. They are well-known in the entire country. They are expanding internationally, and they want to compete with the biggest competitors in becoming the leading job board in these countries.

Stack on the project

AWS, MySQL, Elasticsearch, PHP, Smarty, SCSS, Webpack, VueJS, jQuery. Also some services running on Node with Express.

And they use tools like: Asana, PHPStorm, Phabricator, Jenkins, Slack

About vacancy and responsibilities

You'll be working together with our developers in The Netherlands, to realise our front-end projects. Your code will be reviewed, but you will also review other developers’ code, so we maintain a high code quality and prevent bugs, but also to share knowledge about specific implementations and of course, to improve yourself. We expect you to come up with ideas on how to address certain challenges, and to help other developers if needed.

So, we are looking for:

  • Middle\Senior level front-end web developers, 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor level or higher professional and intellectual ability
  • Decent experience with VueJS.
  • Experience with VueX and server-side rendering will be a plus
  • HTML and CSS should come easy
  • Level of English must be good, both written and spoken
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Having an eye for detail: 'pixel perfect' implementation of designs
  • Aiming for high qualitative code and ability to assess co-workers’ code with the same mindset through peer-to-peer code reviews
  • Having some experience with PHP/backend development is a plus
